Trick's Magic in Five Easy Steps

  1. Choose Your Characters

    Select your inflatable: Trick the Singing Pumpkin, Lester the Mummy, or both! They can perform solo or together using a single projector.

    You can add new packs and characters to your setup every Halloween.

  2. Purchase and Download Your Packs

    Each inflatable purchase comes with an included pack (lead or backup) of your choice that is immediately available as a digital download. Additional packs are easy to purchase and add to your show.

    Trick's crew performs a variety of songs, as well as his own original skits, jokes, lore, and more!

  3. Add Your Files to Spooky Studio

    Access to Trick's Spooky Studio is included with your purchase. No need to install anything. Spooky Studio is browser based.

    Simply add the characters you own. Then add all of your downloaded videos and music into the Media Bin.

  4. Build Your Show

    Arrange and rearrange your show until it feels just spooky enough for your haunt.

    Trick's Spooky Studio will handle the final step and combine every character and performance into one finished video file that plays from your projector.

    Spooky Studio cannot create custom animations.

  5. Play Your Show, Enjoy the Compliments

    Load the final show from Trick's Spooky Studio onto a USB drive and loop it straight from the projector.

    Place your projector 10 to 15 feet away from the front of your inflatables and press play. Then stand back and enjoy endless compliments from your neighbors.

About the Music

Due to music licensing, Trick's song packs do not include music. However, every pack includes direct links for Amazon Music and iTunes to purchase and download songs.

Trick's Originals are a different story. The jokes, skits, and lore are ours, so those do include the original audio, ready to play.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to repurchase Trick videos to add Lester?

No. The only time you need to purchase new videos is when you add a new character or add new performances to your show.

You do not need to repurchase Trick videos you already own, BUT if you are adding Lester, you will need to build a new show using Trick's Spooky Studio.

Do I need a separate projector for each character?

No. Trick's Spooky Studio combines your characters into a single video, so Trick and Lester project from ONE projector onto their own inflatables. Support for three characters on one projector is coming in 2027.

Is the music included in a Trick Ghastly pack?

No. Music licensing prevents us from selling the songs themselves. Every song pack includes direct links to purchase each track on Amazon Music or iTunes, and the animation is timed to that track. Trick's Originals, which are the jokes, skits, and lore, do include their original audio.

Do I need video editing or tech skills?

No. Spooky Studio runs in your browser with nothing to install. You import your videos and music, arrange your playlist, and export one file.

Is a projector included?

No, projectors are sold separately. Trick's recommended projector list on Amazon includes options from $50 to $500+. Most setups place the projector 10 to 15 feet in front of the inflatable.

How do I play my finished show?

The most common method is loading your exported video onto a USB drive and looping it directly from the projector. Depending on your projector you can also connect a laptop over HDMI or stream to it. We recommend USB drives smaller than 128GB with projectors.

What is the difference between a Lead pack and a Backup pack?

Lead singers sing the lead vocals of each song.

Backup singers perform some of the vocals in each song and dance along.

You can mix and match Lead and Backup packs within your show.

How many packs can I add to one show?

As many as you want! There is no limit on playlist length, and you can combine songs, jokes, and originals in any order.

Some browsers, like Firefox on PC, will cap the length of your export due to their limited hardware capabilities. We recommend Google Chrome on both Windows and Mac for the best overall experience.

Can I add characters and packs after the season has started?

Yes. Packs are digital downloads, so you can add one mid-season, drop it into Spooky Studio, re-export your show, and swap the file on your USB drive. Nothing about your setup is locked in.

Can I create my show on a phone or tablet?

No. Spooky Studio is best used on a computer.
