Scam Warning

Scammers Are Copying Trick Ghastly

Trick Ghastly is the original creator of singing Halloween and holiday characters that perform on animated inflatables using projection technology. Trick Ghastly has built a community of over 800,000 followers across social media since 2022.
Unfortunately, scammers have repeatedly stolen Trick Ghastly's videos, images, and website design to create fraudulent websites and run fake advertisements. These counterfeit sites are designed to look like the official Trick Ghastly store and trick customers into placing orders for products that will never arrive.

If the URL in your browser does not say TrickGhastly.com — it is not real.

Trick Ghastly products are only sold at TrickGhastly.com. We do not sell on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Facebook Marketplace, Temu, Wish, discount clearance sites, or any other third-party website or platform. If you see Trick Ghastly products listed anywhere other than TrickGhastly.com, it is a scam.

How to Spot Official Ads

How to Identify Real Trick Ghastly Advertisements

Trick Ghastly advertises on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok — but only through our verified profiles. Here is how to tell if an ad is real:

On Facebook and Instagram: Look for the blue verification checkmark (✓) next to "Trick Ghastly" in the ad. Every official Trick Ghastly ad on Facebook and Instagram will show the verified badge next to our profile name. If there is no checkmark, or if the profile name is misspelled, altered, or different in any way, the ad is not from us.

On TikTok: Official Trick Ghastly TikTok ads come from the @trickghastly account with 480,000+ followers. Scam accounts may have few or no followers, recent creation dates, and no post history. The only exception to this is the @trickghastlyshop TikTok account.

Red flags that indicate a scam ad:
  • The ad links to a website that is NOT TrickGhastly.com
  • The ad offers extreme discounts (70%, 80%, 90% off)
  • The profile running the ad has no verification badge, few followers, or was recently created
  • The ad uses Trick Ghastly videos but the profile name is slightly different (extra characters, misspellings, underscores)
  • The ad promotes Trick Ghastly products on platforms where we don't sell (Amazon, Temu, Wish, eBay, etc.)

How to Verify Your Purchase

Checklist: How to Confirm You're on the Real Trick Ghastly Website

Before making a purchase, confirm all of the following:
  1. Check the URL. The address bar in your browser must say trickghastly.com. Scam sites use lookalike URLs like trickghastly-shop.com, trickghastlyofficial.com, trick-ghastly.store, or other variations. If it doesn't say trickghastly.com exactly, leave the site.
  2. Check for HTTPS. The URL should begin with https:// and show a lock icon. This means the connection is secure.
  3. Check the price. Trick Ghastly products are sold at their listed retail prices. We occasionally run sales and promotions, but we never offer 70-90% off discounts. If a deal looks too good to be true, it is.
  4. Check the payment options. The real TrickGhastly.com accepts major credit cards and Shop Pay. If a site only accepts wire transfers, cryptocurrency, Zelle, Cash App, or other non-reversible payment methods, it is a scam.
  5. Check the contact information. You can reach the real Trick Ghastly through our contact page. If a site has no contact information, a generic email address, or a contact form that doesn't work, it is not us.
